The economic news just keeps getting better and better with more Americans at work thanks to the wisdom of electing a successful businessman as president.
In the latest crushing blow to Democrats, unemployment claims dropped last week as the Trump recovery continues with only fourteen months until the 2020 election.
According to Labor Department figures, new claims for jobless benefits dropped 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 209,000 for the week ended August 17th.
The drop in claims exceeded expectations and throws cold water on Democrats and their celebrity shills who have been openly hoping for a recession to bolster their dismal hopes at recapturing the White House.
JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!
Democrats and the media know the @realDonaldTrump economy is HISTORICALLY STRONG!
That’s why their last resort is FEAR.
The economy is STRONG and GROWING!

The number of Americans filing applications for unemployment benefits fell sharply last week, suggesting the labor market was holding firm despite a manufacturing slowdown and concerns the economy is on a path toward recession.
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 209,000 for the week ended August 17, the Labor Department said on Thursday. Data for the prior week was revised to show 1,000 more applications received than previously reported.
The decline was sharper than expected. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast claims would drop to 216,000 in the latest week.
The Economy is strong and good, whereas the rest of the world is not doing so well. Despite this the Fake News Media, together with their Partner, the Democrat Party, are working overtime to convince people that we are in, or will soon be going into, a Recession. They are…..

Barring a sudden economic downturn, Democrats will be running against a resilient incumbent president after they squandered the better part of three years fixated on the hoax that Trump had colluded with the Russians to cheat Hillary out of the presidency.
All of that time spent on overturning the results of the 2016 election has left Dems seriously lacking any sort of economic policy short of the socialist Green New Deal which is going to dominate their campaigns since Bernie Sanders’ big announcement on his vision on Thursday.
The climate crisis is the greatest challenge facing humanity. It’s also our single greatest opportunity to build a just and equitable future.
We are going to create 20 million jobs and an economy that works for all.

They have been reduced to hoping for a recession that would devastate millions of Americans if that is what it takes for them to regain power but that is a tough sale to even many Democrats.
It is going to be mission impossible to beat Trump if the economy stays strong and Americans are working — especially black and Hispanic voters — but considering the alternative, even if there is a down tick in numbers, the lack of viable alternatives will still likely lead to another term for Trump.
