WATCH: Nancy Slurs, Promotes ‘Wage Gap’ By Bizarrely Claiming Women Are ‘Working For Free’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slurred her words on Thursday and bizarrely claimed that women are “working for free” for the first three months of a job compared to men.

While speaking on the floor, Pelosi was promoting the “Paycheck Fairness Act,” which was recently passed by the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives.

Pelosi spoke about the alleged “wage gap” and claimed that women are working for free for several months when starting a job.

“Now, we’re proud to pass this bill before “Equal Pay Day,” which is on April 2, next week … which symbolizes when women’s wages catch up to a man’s earnings from the previous year,” Pelosi said.

“So, in other words, words…  for the first three months of the year, most women are working for free compared to what a man will make in the overall year,” she added.

Pelosi continued, “So, this is about respect. It’s about respect, my colleagues on both sides of the aisle. Respect for women, and the work that they do. And if they do equal work, why wouldn’t they get equal pay?”

Pelosi’s weird — and false — comments on the “wage gap” came after she claimed President Donald Trump and Republicans are “afraid” of “professional, patriotic” Rep. Adam Schiff.

During his weekly news conference on Thursday, Pelosi said Trump and Republicans are only calling for Schiff to resign because they are “scaredy cats” and worried about him

They are afraid of the truth. They are afraid of competence. They are afraid of a leader who is recognizing in our country for being calm, professional, patriotic. I’m so proud of the work of Chairman Adam Schiff in a stark contrast to the irresponsible almost criminal behavior of the previous chair of the committee,” she added.

Pelosi continued, “Is he afraid of the truth that he would go after a member a chairman of a committee, a respected chairman of a committee in the Congress? I think they’re just scaredy cats. They just don’t know what to do, so they have to make an attack. They did the wrong thing. The American people know that. It is their own insecurity, their own fear of the truth, their fear of the facts and their fear of an effective, patriotic leader who in his measured way is going to make sure the America people know the truth.”

Pelosi’s bizarre and mind-boggling comments are in response to Mueller submitting his final report to the Department of Justice last Friday.

Attorney General William Barr said that Mueller’s report makes it clear there he found no collusion or evidence that Trump ever committed a crime.

Barr wrote that the DOJ will not be bringing any charges against Trump for alleged obstruction or anything else.
