Rep. Maxine Waters suffered a total meltdown over the weekend after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report completely vindicated President Donald Trump.
During an interview on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” the California Democrat said that despite Mueller ending his Russia probe without any charges against Trump, she vowed that “this is not the end of anything!”
“This is not the end of anything!” Waters declared.
“This is the— well, it’s the end of the report and the investigation by Mueller. But those of us who chair these committees have a responsibility to continue with our oversight,” Waters said.
“There’s so much that, uh, needs to be, you know, taken a look at this point,” she exclaimed, adding, “and so it’s not the end of everything.”
On Friday afternoon, Mueller submitted his final report to the Department of Justice.
URGENT 2020 POLL: Trump or Bernie?
There are no further indictments and the two-year long Russia investigation is officially over.
On Sunday, Attorney General William Barr provided Congress with a 4-page document outlining the main takeaways from Mueller’s report.
Barr said that Mueller’s report makes it clear there he found no collusion or evidence that Trump ever committed a crime.
“The report does not recommend any further indictments, nor did the Special Counsel obtain any sealed indictments that have yet to be made public.,” Barr wrote.
Here’s the most important paragraph:
The Special Counsel’s investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election. As the report states: “[T]he investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
URGENT POLL: Does Trump have your vote in 2020?
Barr also wrote in his letter that Mueller left it up to the Department of Justice to determine whether charges could be brought against the president for obstruction of justice.
“The Special Counsel’s decision to describe the facts of his obstruction investigation without reaching any legal conclusions leaves it to the Attorney General to determine whether the conduct described in the report constitutes a crime,” Barr’s letter states.
Barr wrote that the DOJ will not be bringing any charges against Trump for alleged obstruction.
So, Trump has been completely cleared in the Russia probe and there are no charges being brought against him for collusion or obstructing justice.
But just like the 2016 presidential election, Democrats like Waters are refusing to accept the outcome.
NATIONWIDE POLL: Should Trump CUT Pensions For Former Presidents?
The derangement seems to be getting worse for Far Left Democrats in Congress.
They are unwilling to accept the results of the Mueller investigation.
For the last two years, Democrats in the media and in Congress have pushed the false narrative that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.
