Five am eastern standard.
If you’re President Trump, you’re up early on Sunday morning – which is normal for the most powerful man in the world.
45 wasted no time, slamming far-left radical freshman Reps. Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib, Omar, and Pressley.
I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country. They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said. They are destroying the Democrat Party, but are weak & insecure people who can never destroy our great Nation!
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has taken another shot at President Trump amid their ongoing feud, saying he cannot conceive of an immigration system that didn’t involve torture or hurting innocent people.
“He can’t conceive of a border where we don’t cage children or rip them from their parents,” she said. “And to him, a lack of torture equals an open border. He literally cannot think of an immigration system where we don’t hurt innocent people, so I think that’s where he’s coming from there.”
Her comments, published Friday in a video on journalist Nicholas Ballasy’s YouTube channel, came in response to a question about Trump’s claim that she wanted open borders.
The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Rashida said Democrats are “moving towards” impeaching the president.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib believes the House of Representatives is “moving towards” the support necessary to bring impeachment proceedings against President Trump.
Speaking on “Meet the Press” Sunday, Tlaib, D-Mich., was asked by Chuck Todd why a majority of House Democrats do not already support impeachment.
“I think it’s moving towards that. It’s going to demand it, it already is,” said Tlaib, listing several actions in which, according to her, the president acts as if he were “above the law.”
Todd then asked her whether top Democrats are stalling on impeachment, perhaps not wanting to pursue it before the 2020 election.
“This is not about the 2020 election. It’s about doing what’s right now for our country. This is going to be a precedent that we set when we don’t hold this president accountable to the rule of the law and to the United States Constitution,” she argued.
After winning her seat in the House last November, Tlaib draped herself in the Palestinian flag.
She also said she’s never felt more Palestinian than when walking the halls of Congress. Not American, mind you – but Palestinian.
Now, Rashida is claiming she was “afraid” of Americans after the 9/11 attacks that left nearly 3,000 dead.
From Fox News:
U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., once said her fear of Americans after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks pushed her to be more involved in politics and her community.
Tlaib, a Palestinian-American lawmaker who first drew national attention with a profane call for the impeachment of President Trump soon after she took office in January, made her comments in a clip filmed for Makers, a media company that tries to “accelerate the women’s movement through stories of real-life experiences that ignite passion and action.”
In the video, filmed months ago as part of the “Maker of the week” segment which is currently featured prominently on the outlet’s homepage, Tlaib said she was “afraid” of her fellow Americans after the terror attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.
Tlaib must want to be remembered as a martyr or something.
The Michigan lawmaker is now calling for people to join her in a hunger strike until Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is shut down.
In other words – OPEN BORDERS!
From Free Beacon:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) urged her supporters to join her in a hunger strike to push for action to “shut down” U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), arguing the radical push to abolish ICE can’t be achieved by Congress.
Tlaib, headlining a Detroit fundraiser this past weekend for the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights, complained of colleagues who are constantly “policing” what she says and lack willingness to embrace bold stands such as abolishing ICE. She called on her activist audience to join her in a hunger strike at the border.
“It’s going to take movements outside the halls of Congress,” Tlaib told the crowd, according to video captured by America Rising, a conservative group.
“I want you all to shut them down, we can shut them down,” Tlaib said to applause. “Don’t wait for this Congress to act, shut them down.”
“I know what they’re going to say, they’ll go, ‘What do you mean Rashida?’ Well I’ll tell you. There are some people that are using hunger strike, all these other things, going to the border, and I plan to.”
