On Thursday evening, President Trump released a statement ordering the declassification of documents related to the spying on his campaign that took place during the 2016 election.
“Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities during the 2016 Presidential election,” the President said in a tweet. “The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information. Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions.”
The Obama-era intelligence leaders, specifically John Brennan, James Clapper and James Comey, have been feeling the heat in recent weeks which suggests why they are starting to turn on each other and blame each other for potentially illegal activities that took place on their watch.
Noticing this was happening, President Trump decided to post this hilarious cartoon.

This cartoon seemed to get under the skin of John Brennan who responded to the tweet shortly after it was posted to Twitter.
“Young people everywhere: Please do not emulate Mr. Trump’s very immature behavior. Find others of honesty, integrity, & decency to be your role models. And always try to do what you know is the right thing, even when doing what is right is both unpopular & difficult,” the former CIA Chief said in a tweet.

Brennan isn’t the only one lashing out. On Friday, Comey responded to the President’s move to declassify documents related to the origins of the Russia investigation.
“Investigate whatever you wish about 2016 but don’t forget the people of the FBI must investigate and stop Russian efforts in the 2020 election. What impact will loose talk about “spying” and disgraceful talk about “treason” have on FBI agents and analysts?” the fired FBI director said.
Comey has enjoyed portraying himself as the “cool, calm and collected” former FBI director, however it seems that he is getting quite nervous considering his recent outbursts.
Last Friday, Comey sent out a bizarre tweet where he targeted Attorney General Bill Barr for “sliming his own Department.”
“The AG should stop sliming his own Department. If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found. An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth. Donald Trump has enough spokespeople,” the former FBI director said.
