PAY ATTENTION: 3 Major Forecast Modelers Predict Who Will Win The 2020 Election

Three major forecast modelers are predicting that President Donald Trump will win the 2020 election.

In an op-ed for The New York Times, entitled, “Trump’s Formidable 2020 Tailwind,” Steven Rattner cites three different modelers that are predicting the president will secure a second-term in office when the election takes place 18-months from now.

Rattner, who served as the Treasury secretary in the Obama administration, reveals that top economists and modelers argue that the data points to Trump winning no matter who secures the Democratic nomination.

In other words, data models are predicting that Trump wins in 2020 no matter who he faces off against in the general election.

Here’s more from the report:

  • Ray Fair, a professor at Yale, “found that the growth rates of gross domestic product and inflation have been the two most important economic predictors — but he also found that incumbency was also an important determinant of presidential election outcomes.”
  • “Mark Zandi, the chief economist at Moody’s Analytics, has looked at 12 models, and Mr. Trump wins in all of them.”
  • “Donald Luskin of Trend Macrolytics has reached the same conclusion in his examination of the Electoral College.”

Several people are predicting a Trump victory in 2020.

Earlier this month, billionaire and the co-host of NBC’s “Shark Tank” Mark Cuban said none of the 23 Democratic presidential nominees can defeat Trump in the upcoming election.

During an interview with CNBC, Cuban slammed the 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidates and argued none of them can beat Trump in the general election.

Cuban was asked about the 23 candidates who are competing for the Democratic nomination and who he thought had the best shot at unseating Trump.

Cuban responded by saying that “nobody right now” could take the White House from Trump because “politicians are the least trusted of every profession” and that the primary candidate field is “all politicians.”

Cuban argued that the president won in 2016 because he “wasn’t a politician.”

Cuban said:

I think what people are missing is if you look at why people voted for Donald Trump, in my opinion, it was because, first and foremost, it was because he wasn’t a politician. And look, if you look at the Democratic field, it’s all politicians, and politicians are the least trusted of every profession.”

Bookies are also beginning to set the early odds for who has the best chance of winning the 2020 presidential election, and it’s not even close.

Trump is still the strong favorite to win in 2020 despite 22 candidates declaring that they are running for president, and the number could keep rising.

Sportsbook manager Dave Mason found that Trump is the overwhelming 3-2 favorite for re-election.

Trump being the clear favorite to win re-election in 2020 won’t surprise that many people.

The 2020 election is still a long way away, but many already see Trump as the clear favorite to win re-election.
