Omar Implies Male 2020 Dem Is Harassing Ocasio-Cortez After He Challenged Her To Debate

Apparently asking someone to debate is now considered sexual harassment.

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar implied on Wednesday that a male 2020 Democratic presidential candidate was harassing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because he challenged her to a debate.

It started when Democratic presidential candidate John Delaney said at the California Democrat Convention last weekend that he was not for Medicare For All.

“Medicare for all may sound good but it’s actually not good policy nor is it good politics,” he said, which was met with boos from the liberal crowd.

In response, Ocasio-Cortez suggested Delaney should drop out of the presidential race because he was wrong about Medicare For All.

“Since there’s so many people running for President (& not enough for Senate), instead of obsessing over who‘s a frontrunner, maybe we can start w some general eliminations. This awful, untrue line got boo’ed for a full minute. John Delaney, thank you but please sashay away,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

Delaney responded via Twitter by asking Ocasio-Cortez to debate him on the issue and that it would be good for the country to see a healthy conversation on the topic.

“Hey @AOC, we have the same goal, universal healthcare for everyone, we just have different ways of getting there. Healthcare is the #1 issue for voters, so let’s debate the way forward. Any show of your choosing. Healthcare is too important for tweets, we need real discussion,” Delaney wrote.

She appeared to be likening Delaney’s offer to debate to a sexual harassment, as if there is anything wrong with a male asking a woman to debate him on an issue.

Aside from Omar’s delusional argument, this is the second time in the past week where Ocasio-Cortez has been called out.

Several military veterans who attended a recent private event with Ocasio-Cortez stormed out of the meeting after the New York socialist lawmaker attacked U.S. foreign policy and suggested that America was at least partially to blame for people getting killed in Yemen.

Ocasio-Cortez has come under fire countless times since joining Congress back in January.

  • Ocasio-Cortez pushed a ridiculous doomsday scenario and argued that “we will have blood on our hands” if climate change is not addressed immediately.
  • The New York lawmaker said Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar has done more for 9/11 families than Republican Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost his eye in combat while serving in the Middle East.
  • She went berserk and accused U.S. Customs and Border Patrol officials of “caging” and “drugging” migrants at the border.

Ocasio-Cortez can’t seem to go a week without making a total fool of herself.

And Omar continues to make headlines herself with controversial remarks.
