Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and two other members of her «Squad» finally revealed on Tuesday night who they plan to endorse for the 2020 presidential election.
Given all four members of the «Squad» — which is also comprised of Reps. Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib — are raging socialists, it won’t surprise many which candidate they are supporting for president.
If you guessed the socialists would be supporting socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders — you were correct.

Ocasio-Cortez will appear with Sanders on Saturday at a campaign event in Queens, New York, to endorse his presidential campaign.
Sanders teased the endorsement during Tuesday’s Democratic debate, saying he will have a “special guest” at the upcoming rally over the weekend.
“We’re looking forward to Saturday,” said Ocasio-Cortez spokesman Corbin Trent to the Washington Examiner when asked for comment.
Tlaib and Omar are also planning to throw their support behind the candidacy of Sanders.
Omar said in a statement, «Bernie is leading a working class movement to defeat Donald Trump that transcends generation, ethnicity and geography.»
Citing his positions on student debt, school meals, immigration, and foreign policy, Omar said, «I believe Bernie Sanders is the best candidate to take on Donald Trump in 2020.»
Pressley, the other squad member, has not yet made a public announcement on which candidate she supports.
Pressley’s situation is different because she is Representative for Massachusetts’s 7th congressional district, so there’s pressure on her to endorse Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who also represents Massachusetts.
As bizarre as it may sound, Sanders cared very much about winning the OK of the “Squad” members because he desperately needs to attract young voters.
The endorsement also comes a week after Bernie suffered a heart attack, which has raised serious questions about his fitness and ability to serve as president if he were to win the election.
But beyond that, it won’t surprise many that the three socialist lawmakers are throwing their support behind Sanders, who is arguably the most left-wing and radical candidate to ever run for president.
Socialists of a feather stick together.
