Since taking over the U.S. House of Representatives last week, Democrats have introduced a series of bills that are directly aimed at going after President Donald Trump.Despite House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claiming Democrats want “bipartisanship,” liberals have made it clear they will spend most of their time attacking the president.
As noted by ABC News, Democrats are inching closer to introducing a bill that would force Trump — and all future presidents — to release 10 years worth of tax returns.
The massive proposal, which is being called “The For the People Act,” would require presidential and vice presidential candidates to release 10 years of their personal tax returns.
It would require sitting presidents and vice presidents to also do the same.
The measure, also known as “House Resolution 1,” would include dozens of amendments aimed at addressing campaign finance reform, ethical issues, voting rights, and election security.
The bill is undoubtedly aimed at going after Trump.
Many critics also argue it would allow lawmakers unfettered powers to scrutinize, probe, and investigate individuals — especially for political reasons.
Do you think Trump cut foreign aid to countries who send migrants?
Since Democrats took control of the House, they have wasted little time pushing their far left agenda.
One Democrat filed articles of impeachment, another introduced a measure to completely abolish the electoral college, and at least three others discussed impeaching Trump from office.
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-TN, introduced two bills on Thursday. One would prohibit presidents from pardoning themselves or their family members, and the other would eliminate the electoral college.
Cohen wasn’t the only Democrat who took action aimed at Trump.
While speaking at an event for MoveOn, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Michigan, launched into a profanity-laced diatribe against Trump.
“People love you and you win. And when your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look you won. Bullies don’t win,’” Tlaib said, recalling what her son told her.
“And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t.’ Because we’re gonna go in there and impeach the motherf**ker!” she added, with the crowd roaring with cheers.

Just hours after Democrats officially took control of the House, Rep. Brad Sherman, D-CA, re-introduced articles of impeachment that he filed last year.
Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., told CNN on Thursday: “It’s not too soon to be talking about it. We’ll have to decide whether or not it’s the correct course of action, but certainly, we should be discussing it and asking those questions and figuring out what the best course of action is.”
Should Trump cut foreign aid to countries who send migrants?
During an interview with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie that aired on Thursday morning, newly elected House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she believes a sitting president can be indicted.
“Do you believe the special counsel should honor and observe the Department of Justice guidance that states a sitting president cannot be indicted?” Guthrie asked.
“No, I mean I don’t think — I do not think that that is conclusive. No, I do not,” she said.
