Conservative actor James Woods may have just fired off the tweet of the month exploiting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist Green New Deal
A few weeks ago, Ocasio-Cortez declared “I’m the boss” in response to criticism of her social measure
“So people are like, ‘Oh it’s unrealistic. Oh it’s vague. Oh it doesn’t address this little minute thing.’ And I’m like, ‘You try. You do it. Cause you’re not. Cause you’re not. So, until you do it, I’m the boss.’ How about that?” she declared.
A few days after her scathing remarks, Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to double down on her statement.
“Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis. Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in response to another user
Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis.
But as Woods pointed out, that’s not “the way it works in America,” especially when lawmakers serve the people, not the other way around.
Woods points out the flaw Ocasio-Cortez’s argument:
So, you may have missed this, but the way it works in America is YOU work for US. The last time somebody told Americans to sit down and shut up was 1776. If you ever learn to read, look it up. You are not only a idiot, you’re an arrogant idiot, and there is nothing more dangerous https://t.co/5Hn8IoHFn8

Woods is 100 percent accurate with what he said.
The main issue with Ocasio-Cortez’s rhetoric on the Green New Deal is that she is basically telling Americans that they should get behind her plans or keep their mouth shut.
She’s making it sound like it’s her way or the highway, which is the exact opposite of how government is supposed to work.
Elected officials were elected by the people and serve the will of the people they represent, not the other way around.
The Green New Deal has also been heavily criticized for how much it will cost taxpayers.
A new study reveals that the price tag for socialist measure comes out to $7 trillion.
A recent study from PJ Media found that the estimated $7 trillion projected cost is painfully low, and that it could actually cost nearly $50 trillion, which would be roughly seven — SEVEN — times more than that.
The “Green New Deal” will cost approximately $49.109 trillion in the first ten years, enough to fund Trump’s border wall 8,616 times over. The president is requesting $5.7 billion for the wall.
PJ Media calculated the cost of the “Green New Deal” by integrating each of the cost aspects involved in a Power the Future analysis and calculating their cost for the U.S. over about ten years — and in one case through 2050.
All that “free” stuff Ocasio-Cortez keep promising is very expensive, and experts argue it will literally end all of civilization if implemented.
