Eric Swalwell Announces Candidacy And Gets ROASTED On Twitter For His Slogan

On Monday, radical Democrat and Russia conspiracy theorist Eric Swalwell announced his presidential candidacy for the 2020 election.
After announcing that he would be running, Swalwell released a video with his 2020 slogan which is “Let’s go big, be bold, and do good!” That has to be the most pathetic, generic campaign slogan to ever exist!

Twitter made sure to roast the congressman for his announcement and cheesy slogan.

One Twitter user uploaded a GIF of Simon from American Idol saying “it’s a no from me.”

Swalwell announced his presidential run on Steven Colbert’s late night show. Mark Dice made sure to joke about this by saying, “When your candidacy is a joke, what better place to announce it than on a comedy show? Eric Swalwell.”

Biggs was frustrated with Swalwell’s radical views on the Second Amendment. “So basically @RepSwalwell wants a war. Because that’s what you would get. You’re outta your f*cking mind if you think I’ll give up my rights and give the gov all the power,” he said

Swalwell responded by saying, “And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit. I’m sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities.”

For several months, Swalwell has been hinting that he was debating running for president noting that he would decide by the end of March.

VOTER POLL: Do You Support TERM LIMITS For Members Of Congress?

“There are three questions I’ve asked myself,” the Democrat said at the time. “Do I think I can make a difference? Do I think I can win? Because I don’t think — even if you can make a difference, if you can’t win, it’s a hell of a sacrifice to take your family and friends and home constituents through.”
Now that the “RUSSIA COLLUSION” conspiracy has fallen apart, Swalwell is moving on to take away your second amendment rights.

The Atlantic asked him about his previous positions on the Mueller investigation. Check out what they said:

I asked Swalwell whether he had moved away from the Trump campaign and Russia as a possible issue in his presidential run because Mueller had found no collusion. He pointed me to a New York Times story that ran Wednesday night,“Some on Mueller’s Team Say Report Was More Damaging Than Barr Revealed.” But he made it clear that the Mueller report was not a factor in his campaign plans.

“I’m not running on Russia,” Swalwell added, then attempted to pull it back slightly, “if I were to run.”

URGENT 2020 POLL: Trump or Bernie?

Maybe he isn’t going to run on Russia because there was no collusion in the first place. Is this really the type of person we want running our country?
