DISGUSTING: Leftist Ivy League Professor Compares Israel To ISIS

Comparing Israel to ISIS is like saying peanut butter and mustard work well together.

It’s just not true. In fact, it’s a downright lie.

According to a professor at Ivy League Columbia University, though, Isreal is just like ISIS!

Allow him to explain…

From Free Beacon:

In a now-deleted Facebook post Saturday, a Columbia University professor likened Israel to ISIS, but with more mainstream media support.

Hamid Dabashi, the Hagop Kevorkian Professor of Iranian Studies and Comparative Literature at Columbia, shared the post in reaction to the United States recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

According to Fox News, Dabashi went on a bizarrely capitalized rant before removing the post. “What’s the difference between ISIS and ISRAEL?” he asked. Neither, he said, has a claim to the Golan Heights. “All of Syria belong to all Syrian people, not an inch it either to ISIS or to ISRAEL.” Proof of the post remains available on his Twitter account.

President Trump has been in Israel’s corner from the start.

It doesn’t matter to the left that POTUS has Jewish grandchildren and a Jewish son-in-law. They still paint him as a racist, anyway.

Now, Trump has just made another huge move in favor of Israel.

You can expect the liberal outrage to come quickly…

After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel’s Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability!

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders announced on Wednesday that Netanyahu and Trump will hold a working meeting in the White House on Monday, followed by a dinner on Tuesday evening.

The dinner is unusual, as during most prime ministerial visits to Washington, including ones Netanyahu has already taken under the Trump Administration, the norm is one meeting.

The Trump decision to recognize the Golan now gives Netanyahu a significant boost before the election, but will also also trigger criticism that the US president is blatantly meddling in the Israeli elections.

This will not, however, be be the first time that US presidents will be accused of trying to influence the election outcome.

In 2015, just two weeks before that year’s elections, Netanyahu traveled to the American capital, where he spoke to an enthusiastic AIPAC convention and then, the very next day, spoke to a special joint session of Congress in a move that infuriated president Barack Obama, who saw this as Netanyahu’s effort to meddle in US politics and the raging partisan debate over the Iranian nuclear deal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was elated:

At a time when Iran seeks to use Syria as a platform to destroy Israel, @POTUS Trump boldly recognizes Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights.

Thank you President Trump!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke this evening with @POTUS Donald Trump and thanked him for the decision to recognize the Golan Heights.

Prime Minister Netanyahu told US President Trump: “You made history.”
