Dem DODGES When Asked About Anti-Semitic Tweet; ‘I Don’t Know How That’s Offensive’

Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar has found herself in hot water after an anti-Semitic tweet from 2012 resurfaces and she stumbles to defend herself when asked about it during an interview with CNN.

She stated on Twitter:”Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel. #Gaza #Palestine #Israel.”

When CNN’s Poppy Harlow asked her about what her message to Jewish-Americans who find that offensive would be, she seemed to be stuck in her way, defending Allah, and providing an equally disturbing response to the question.

You wrote Israel has ‘hypnotized the world,’” CNN host Poppy Harlow asked Omar. “I wonder what your message is this morning to Jewish-Americans who find that deeply offensive.”

The new representative said that the question was “regrettable” and that she does not know how her comments would be “offensive” to Jewish people.

“That’s really a regrettable way of expressing that. I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish-Americans. My comments precisely are addressing what was happening during the Gaza War,” Omar said.

The Somali-American congressman said she was criticizing the “Israeli regime” for how it was conducting itself.

Omar tried to flip the script, turning her disturbing interview towards GOP Rep. Steve King who was recently criticized for “racism and bigotry” over comments he stated to the New York Times.

Omar also stirred up controversy by suggesting that President Trump is blackmailing Senator Lindsey Graham over his sexuality.

Seems like Omar is off to a great start if being an anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist is part of being a member of Congress.
