CNN Guest Says No ‘Reputable’ Outlet Reported On Smollett’s ‘MAGA’ Quote; She’s Lying, Here’s Proof

The media is trying desperately to do everything they can to save face in the wake of the Jussie Smollett set-up.

As reported by Vox:

As conservative CNN commentator S.E. Cupp noted over the weekend, Trumpers were “giddy” in their reaction to reports speculating about a hoax. And it’s clear from the responses to Cupp’s tweet that Smollett’s critics saw the new developments as validation that Trump supporters — not minorities, LGBTQ individuals, or other disadvantaged groups — are the people who are actually being persecuted.

Okay, so first they accuse MAGA supporters as causing a horrific attack, and now MAGA supporters aren’t allowed to feel vindicated?

That makes them “giddy?” Really?

Liberals have even pointed to the words of President Trump, PRAISING him for his response to the attack, using it as a defense.

Here’s more from the Vox report:

In both the Covington and Smollett cases, liberals were quick to condemn what was, at first glance, unacceptable behavior. In the latter case, even President Trump, who is often criticized for taking his time before commenting on cases where the victims are minorities or from disadvantaged groups, denounced Smollett’s alleged attack as “h

It must HURT to have to point positively to the words of the POTUS to take the attention off of the MAGA-admonishing that occurred.

But there’s been a new twist in the finger-pointing.

Liberal “journalist” Liz Plank, who is host of Vox Media’s “Consider It”  has made the claim that she was unable to find any credible news media outlet that reported on the “MAGA quote.”

Watch below:

The weapon that she has used comes out of the Fake News Handbook.

It explains that if you are in desperation and need to win back some credibility, you simply make an unsubstantiated claim on a major news platform (CNN in this case), and then never talk about the issue again.

Sadly, there are so many who have fallen for this play that they will actually believe that Smollett never claimed his attack was at the hands of MAGA attackers.

To read an account with “MAGA quotes” that came straight from the mouth of Jussie Smollett about the attack, you can just read below.

As reported by WGN-9 in Chicago:

“While he was on the phone I heard, I was crossing the intersection, I heard ‘Empire!,’ Smollett told Roberts. “I don’t answer to ‘Empire.’ My name ain’t ‘Empire.’”

The actor said he didn’t respond and k
