BOOM: Trump Threatens To Sick The FCC On ‘Saturday Night Live’; Here’s What We Know…

On Sunday morning, President Trump blasted Saturday Night Live (SNL) in a series of tweets where he claimed that SNL was free advertisement for the Democratic Party and also stated how the show isn’t funny considering they attack the same person (him) over and over again

“It’s truly incredible that shows like Saturday Night Live, not funny/no talent, can spend all of their time knocking the same person (me), over & over, without so much of a mention of ‘the other side.’ Like an advertisement without consequences. Same with Late Night Shows,” the President tweeted adding, “Should Federal Election Commission and/or FCC look into this? There must be Collusion with the Democrats and, of course, Russia! Such one sided media coverage, most of it Fake News. Hard to believe I won and am winning. Approval Rating 52%, 93% with Republicans. Sorry! #MAGA”

Saturday night’s repeat featured a parody of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ with Trump shown imagining his life if he had never been elected president.

The program has long used the president as a punching bag.

Actor Alec Baldwin frequently lampoons the president as a fumbling, incompetent commander in chief.

It’s amazing how SNL runs the SAME hit pieces on President Trump week in and week out, yet they never seem to go after prominent Democrats the same way. Just more political bias from the far Left media!

In relation to the FCC comment President Trump made, it is unclear if they will be able to take action. Check out what else the Daily Mailsaid:

President Trump questioned whether the Federal Election Commission or Federal Communications Commission should investigate.

The FEC examines improper campaign contributions while the FCC originated the fairness doctrine – a regulation that requires the news give equal time to both sides. However the doctrine was discontinued in 1987 and is no longer on the books. Additionally, when it was used by the FCC as a method of distributing television and radio licenses, it was found not to apply to elected officials.

It’s obvious that the President is treated extremely unfairly by the media and especially by Saturday Night Live. The liberals in Hollywood are so possessed by Trump Derangement Syndrome that they fail to realize that the same “anti-Trump skit” they give every single week is not funny at all. Maybe they should make fun of a Democrat for once!

This isn’t the first time that the President has gone after SNL. Last month he tweeted, “Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!”
