Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez exploded on Thursday and doubled-down on her ludicrous “Concentration Camp” comments.
While speaking with a reporter on Capitol Hill, the New York socialist lawmaker claimed President Donald Trump and Republicans are running a “torture project” along the US-Mexico border.

“How do you respond to Republicans who are talking about physical barriers being part of any package that deals with the actual crisis in terms of the traffic coming across?” the reporter asked.
“If they want to do that, that’s fine… but they should not be using a humanitarian crisis as a bargaining chip to make sure they pursue their little torture project,” Ocasio-Cortez fired back.

Ocasio-Cortez has refused to back-away from her outrageous comments.
Last week, Ocasio-Cortez went berserk and falsely claimed that Trump’s administration is operating “concentration camps” on the southern border.
During an Instagram live video session, the New York socialist also compared these “concentration camps” for migrants to the Holocaust.
Migrants being detained by U.S. officials for illegally entering the country is in no way comparable to the horrors and atrocities that took place during the Holocaust, which resulted in over six million of innocent Jews and others being murdered.
“The United States is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are,” Ocasio-Cortez alleged. “They are concentration camps. And, um, if that doesn’t bother you, I don’t, I don’t know, I like, we can have, okay whatever.”
Ocasio-Cortez then mentioned the Holocaust by saying “Never Again,” a phrase that is often used when referring to the Holocaust.
“I want to talk to the people that are concerned enough with humanity to say that we should not that ‘Never Again’ means something and that the fact that concentration camps are now an institutionalized practice in the home of the free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it. This week, children, immigrant children were moved to the same internment camps where the Japanese were held in, in the early, in the earlier 20th century and this is, um, this is not even about a crisis for, this is not just about the immigrant communities being held in concentration camps being a crisis.”

Quite amazing to see a member of Congress make such abhorrent comments, which are factually false and misleading.
She’s referring to the Trump administration sending some detained migrant children to Fort Sill Army Base, which was temporarily used decades ago as a Japanese internment camp during World War II.
However, it is the same base that former President Barack Obama sent migrant kids to and for the same reasons.
When Trump sends migrant there — liberals compare it to the Holocaust and demanded Trump be impeached.
When Obama sent migrants to the exact same facility — no one batted an eye or said a word.
